Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency is prompting the prevention and control of malaria caused by the bite of the Anopheles mosquito.

"We urge them (residents) to always keep their home environment clean and protect themselves by using mosquito repellent lotion, including don't hang wet clothes in the room," she said, Wednesday (3/15).

"They usually come from other areas where malaria is endemic," he uttered.
He explained efforts to spread malaria are carried out by reporting these findings to the E-Sismal application, which is a reporting system for malaria sufferers managed by health centers and hospitals. The report is then forwarded to the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes).
"This is one of the efforts to increase validity and completeness in reporting malaria data. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), there has never been a case of death from this disease," he uttered.
